Recap

The scene opens Commander Taylor printing out pictures from a suicide victim case. Detective Ortega from the Phoenix Police Department comes in and thanks them for looking into the case for her. They go to Chief Pope and Taylor says that Sedona Gibson was the victim and Ortega says that she doesn’t agree with the Coroner’s ruling. He reads that they said that she died of a heroin overdose. Ortega says that can’t be true because Sedona was her daughter. Johnson looks over the case file and Ortega says that her daughter was a diabetic and that she knew not to do drugs. Ortega says that Drew, Sedona’s husband, is not a good man. Johnson asks when the last time she saw her daughter was and Ortega says that it has been 2 years. She says that she called a few months back, but her husband hung up the phone and she couldn’t talk to her. Johnson asks if her profession as an Escort could have had anything to do with it. ..
