The Colbert Report: David Brooks

Stephen begins the show with a cautionary tale about the danger of bears. Feeling bad about not including bears in last night's Threat Down segment, he gives a Bonus Threat Down segment about bears. Stephen talks about The White House's report on Hurricane Katrina and how it differs from Congress's report, luckily for the viewers, Stephen prepared his own Hurricane Katrina report. Tonight's segment of The Word is "hippocratical", about the refusal of two anesthesiologists who refused to administer anesthetics to a death row inmate prior to receiving a lethal injection. Stephen lays out Bush's Medicare Plan D Prescription Plan, and further confuses the masses and shows a pharmaceutical propaganda segment. Stephen interviews New York Times conservatist columnist, David Brooks. They discuss the United Arab Emirates and it's acquisition deal of the ports.
