The Colbert Report: Steve Wozniak

Stephen starts off by showing another Green Screen Challenge entry featuring Colbert with an I-Pod. Then he offers the opportunity for Jewish people who want to be forgiven for offending Stephen Colbert, a toll free number displayed to call 1-888-OOPS-JEW (and yes, the number did actually work). Tonight's first segment is Stephen's war on the War On Christmas, The Blitzkrieg On Grinchitude, where he features Santa Claus, Indiana. For this segment he interviews, via satellite, Jerry Sanders, the retired Chief of Operations of the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial along side Will Koch, director of Hollywood Theme Park which includes Santa Claus Land, in a Lincoln versus Santa Claus debate. Then, Sarah Vowell, author of Assassination Vacation and somewhat of a presidential historian, briefly joins Stephen in the studio to weigh in on the Lincoln debate. The last segment of the night is Un-American News where he blasts the foreign press. Lastly, Stephen interviews Steve Wozniak co-founder of Apple Computers and inventor of the personal computer and author of iWoz.

Episode Quotes
Stephen Colbert: Deck the halls with rounds of ammo, I'll kick off the war on the War On Christmas. Then, we'll survey the foreign press, turns out there's a lot more to blame them for than just the Golden Globes. And Apple co-founder and inventor of the personal computer, Steve Wozniak is here. I'll ask what he has to say to my uncle, the typewriter salesman. Just a reminder, the Colbert Report original cast recording is on sale in the lobby. This is the Colbert Report.
