Do you swear to tell the truthiness, the whole truthiness & nothing but the truthiness, so help you Stephen Colbert?

Well, first post in this forum, so I'll talk to myself for a while.
I am now the editor of The Colbert Report, so you should expect to see the episode guide grow by leaps and bounds of truthiness in the coming weeks. I hope.

I really enjoy this show. Any suggestions or comments, feel free to post.

I was quite annoyed they did not let SC run for president. Obviously, he was not going to be elected, but not allowing him to run? What is that?

Oh, I don't know. I'm sure a lot of his fans would vote for him. His facebook group supporting his candidacy was the biggest group ever. Over a million people in just a day. I wouldn't vote for him though..

I'm a little sick of Colbert. His show is pretty entertaining to watch but his personality is just a bit too much for me. I'll stick with The Daily Show.

I’m pretty much the opposite, especially with the strike. The persona of Stephen Colbert permits episodes to work rather well even with the lack of material, while Jon Stewart’s lack of material is painstakingly obvious. Now, there have been some hilarious moments on The Daily Show since the strike, I’m not trying to say otherwise, but even most professional critics have agreed that Colbert currently has the advantage.

Eh, I don't know. I just seem to get more out of the Daily Show. The Colbert Report seems to have less factual information, as some of Colbert segments are a little odd. His show is the newer one with more shine, but I just prefer The Daily Show's simple formula.

Yeah, to each their own. I’ve just always been a fan of Stephen Colbert; he was my favorite correspondent on The Daily Show and I’ve been watching The Colbert Report since day one. I will say that the writer’s strike does suck for The Colbert Report as well, especially since there aren’t any more “The Word” segments, which were always the most enjoyable part of each episode.

We have a proverb in my country taken from Winnie the Pooh: Yes, both please!

Some days the daily show episode is the best, some days its the Colbert report. They sure have been good therapy for all of us that never could agree with Bush and the war economy.

To USA citizens: to become a patriot, buy american! It's a 50 year old slogan that still is true today.
To european citizens: to become a patriot, buy european!

Both are great shows but are best when an election cycle is ongoing.
