Episode Quotes

Maya: (about Morgan's apartment) Is this your place?
Morgan: Yeah. You don't like it?
Maya: It's nice. I just didn't know you could rent a mausoleum.

Morgan: The Devil's deals work by moving luck around. You got 10 years of unnatural good luck, but there's a balance. Just as much bad luck had to go somewhere else.
Dion: So, what, Vanilla Ice had to go down so I could be famous?

Cultural References

Dion: Look, I hate to break it to your sorry ass, if you're handing out copies of The Watchtower, or whatever, but there's no such thing as the Devil.

The Watchtower is an illustrated religious magazine printed and published by Jehovah's Witnesses.

Dion: So, what, Vanilla Ice had to go down so I could be famous?

Vanilla Ice, a white man actually named Robbie Van Winkle, was a well known rapper in the early 1990s. He was famous for being notoriously bad. First for his performances, then for his lies about his upbringing.
