LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - TNT's CIA-themed miniseries "The Company" got off to a slow start, averaging just 2.9 million total viewers during its two-hour debut Sunday, according to Nielsen Media Research.
By comparison, TNT recently drew 8.8 million viewers for the third-season premiere of "The Closer," while the series premieres of "Saving Grace" and "Heartland" averaged 6.4 million and 4.3 million, respectively. All three series air on Monday nights.
A second airing of "The Company" at 10 p.m. averaged 936,000 viewers, while a midnight encore added 523,000 viewers. The remaining installments of "Company" air over the next two Sundays at 8 p.m. The series stars Chris O'Donnell, Michael Keaton and Alfred Molina.
