The Contender (2005)


A new reality show from creator Mark Burnet features 16 hopeful boxers who's trying to become the ultimate million dollar professional boxer. The 16 hopefuls are divided into two teams. Each week, the two teams compete on a challenge addressed by hosts Sylvester Stallone and Sugar Ray Leonard. The winning team gets to choose who fights in the weekly match and the power to choose their opponent on the losing team. The last two contestants remaining will fight for the title.
