When Denise comes home for the weekend and sets up a blind date with a boy that she's been talking to over the phone, she mistakenly believes that a medical student visiting Cliff is her date. But, her and her date end up having a good time anyway. Meanwhile, after a string of break-ups, Robert comes to Cliff an Theo for advice. He eventually decides he wants to get back together with Vanessa, but she tells him that they're better off as friends.
