Sondra and Elvin have made plans to go out to dinner with two of his old girlfriends from college, but Sondra decides not to go because of heavy schoolwork. She becomes very upset when he returns home late, and she finds out that he paid for dinner. They go over to Cliff and Clair's house the next night for dinner, and Cliff and Clair end up getting them to make up. Meanwhile, Vanessa and Rudy get hooked on old movies, and watch one where a woman kills her husband in a jealous rage, and fear Sondra might do the same to Elvin.
