Theo is excited when he is in the running to make the dean's list if he gets a good grade on his final exam. He decides that he will go home and study instead of going to a party, but when he meets a new girl at a cafe, Cheryl, his plans change. He ends up going to the party with her, and is upset when he learns that she will have to return to her hometown the next day. While at the party, Theo just can't seem to get his mind off the exam, and when Cheryl notices this, she tells him that he should go home and study instead of being at this party. Theo takes her advice, and is surprised later to find that Cheryl has enrolled for another semester, and will be back in a few weeks.
