Jay feels unloved, he sees everyone in near him have either been married or engaged. He falls in love with a Movie Projectionist at the premier of "Indecent proposal 2", and later finds out she is insane.

The Title is a parody of the movie "Misery" and in that "Les Miserables"

Jay waking up answers the phone:
Margo: "Jay, this is your sister. You got a lot of laughs on The Tonight Show last night. Um, did you mean to have your fly open the whole time?”

Jay at work, in a theater:
A man carrying an artifact runs out of a cave with a giant rolling ball chasing him. The man dodges and the ball knocks over Nazis lined up as bowling pins.

Jay at the end of the movie credits
Jay: "I'm stuck in the chair."
