The Dales follows Adrian Edmondson as he returns to his birthplace of Yorkshire to spend a whole summer in the Dales, where he meets the different people who live there all year round.

Adrian pays another visit to Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale where the Owen family are getting ready for a very special day which is youngest son Miles’ first day at school. They are also looking forward to a rare night away from the farm when they are invited to a photography exhibition in Reeth where they are the stars of the show. Dales estate agent Brian Carlisle takes on another role as auctioneer at the monthly family auction in Hawes village hall.
