Bob, played by Terrence Mann (1)
Bob (or Hrothbert of Bainbridge as Harry's uncle called him) is a ghost, cursed for eternity to haunt his own enchanted skull. Whoever owns the skull has access to Bob, a once powerful wizard, now valuable tutor of magic and font of arcane information.
Harry currently has Bob. Bob was once his teacher and is now is his friend, but that doesn't mean Bob won't rib him mercilessly. Bob is perpetually cranky, outspoken and is often randy despite being dead. He also has a romantic side, and loves to watch 'chick flicks'.
Bob's past is very dark. 800 years ago, Bob was a powerful wizard who was in love with a wizardess name Winifred. When she was killed Bob brought her back to life using Thaumaturgy, breaking a major rule of wizardry.
Despite being moody Bob cares for Harry deeply and often act as his conscious often pleading with Harry to take the safer path. |
