| The Hockey Stick:
This is the first time you see Harry with his hockey stick, the significance of this item has yet to be revealed. | The Drum Stick:
This is also the first time you see Harry with his magic wand, which is a drum stick. He uses it to escape from the jail cell. | Werewolves:
Two issues when dealing with popular conceptions of werewolf mythology are thrown out in this episode. While silver is still deadly to them, apparently they do not need the full moon to transform and you do not need to be bitten to contract lycanthropy. Zachary Bushnell was only clawed across the chest and still became a werewolf, though it did take him longer to transform. |

| Bob: Dresden... Please don't drag me around like an inbred Cocker Spaniel.
Harry: Well keep up. | Heather: (to Harry) Do you smell that? Everything smells like food. You smell like food. | Heather: Why are you doing this?
Harry: 'Cause I'm the only one that can. |

| Hair of the Dog:
Is the name of a song by Nazareth. It also is a direct reference to the killer's penchant for taking bits of hair from the victims, who are all werewolves. |
