| Beginning with this episode, new episodes are playing on Sunday 10:00pm, with reruns playing in the 9:00pm slot. | In this episode we learn that Murphy's daughter is 9 years old and gave her the necklace she is always seen wearing. We also learn that her father retired to Florida. | In the very beginning scenes of the episode, in the foreground while Harry is doing yoga, is a statue of a dragon. This is blatant foreshadowing. | This episode ran as the season finale on Canadian TV. |

| Harry: (narrating, picture stopped on Ancient Mai) Okay, in my life stuff happens really fast so I'll try and bring you up to speed. Pay Attention. Ancient Mai: head of the High Council for Chicago, powerful wizard; doesn't like me.
Murphy: Uh... Dresden? Who are these people?
Harry: You know... (stammers) It's really complicated.
Morgan: Wallace. Soto. Take her to the back.
Harry: (narrating, Picture stopped on Morgan) Morgan, Mai's chief enforcer, also doesn't like me. (Picture stops on Wallace and Soto) And these guys... Uh, no clue but they probably don't like me either. | Harry: (narrating) How do I get into these situations? There I was, in a good place for once, when bang! The big boss of the High Council and her pack of Wardens come crashing into my place uninvited. Add Lt. Murphy, my main source of income, who isn't supposed to know about these people. Seal the door shut with some kind of annihilating darkness and suddenly what do you know? Another bad day for me. | Murphy: This can't be real. Is this happening?
Harry: Yeah, it's real and it's... It's happening.
Ancient Mai: I said tell her nothing.
Harry: Morgan is the one talking about soul ripping and element tearing. I think the ship has kinda sailed. The barn door's open, the cows are out and the bag is really devoid of cats. | (There's an explosion that sends both Morgan and Harry flying back when a spell backfires.)
Morgan: Some things never change, always blowing things up.
Harry: I'm not always blowing things up.
Morgan: Right, sometimes you set thing on fire. |

| Dragons:
Drakes, or Dragons are mythological creatures that are prevalent in folk tales from all over the world. Dragons of the east are long and more serpent-like, wise and usually benevolent towards humans, while Dragons of the west are built more like dinosaurs with wings, spewing fire from their mouths and are things to fear and hate.
Dragons are long-lived, smart and magical (or spiritual according to the Chinese). Eastern philosophy considers themselves to be good luck, while the Bible attributes them with the demonic. |

| Things That Go Bump:
The phrase is 'things that go bump in the night' and it originated from a Scottish child's prayer:
From ghoulies and ghosties
And long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night,
Good Lord, deliver us!
It is common in pop culture to associate the things that scare us as 'things that go bump in the night.' |
