Let's talk about this week's episode:
Walls
This, in my opinion, was the best episode so far. No hot chicks, but a little insight into Bob's condition. You can really feel the bitterness he has in this episode for his situation.
So far this was my favorite episode. |

I liked this episode too, although Murphy's back to being a pain again. Still having trouble with Harry being so weak and Morgan being so nice. But next week we get to see the sword!
Does anyone know how well the show's doing, ratings-wise? |

Not sure, but I imagine it is doing halfway decently considering the time slot. |

Finally! Harry throwing his weight around a little bit. It's always been an important part of the book that he's got power out the wazoo, just not a lot of refinement in controlling it.
And on top of that, Susan! Mister (the cat)! VW Beetle! Basement with the summoning/containment ring! Where have you been all season?!
And best of all, Morgan's back to being a jerk. His sole passion in life (for a while) is to kill Harry. All this teaming up and helping Harry in the past was weird .
And I'm proud to say I didn't start screaming when Susan showed up as a blonde instead of a brunette. Maybe seeing Murphy as the opposite has gotten me used to the idea. Or maybe it's because Murphy's hair color was actually a significant part of her character, who knows.
If I recall correctly, in the book, this is where we first meet Toot Toot. I was kind of disappointed that we didn't get to see Harry's tiny little Fae buddy. They mentioned the NeverNever in this episode, but I hope we actually will get to see it, as it's a significant part of the goings-on of Harry's world. |

Considering USA has shown an interest in the show (even to the point of playing Rules of Engagement Thursday night aat ten!) It must be doing well. I'm still waiting to see if it get's picked up for another season though. |

The Other Dick
I like Claudia Black and you got to see Harry throwing his weight around again a bit. Not as much as last week but...
Not a bad episode. |

Just a short comment on the Storm Front episode. In my opinion it's a little off, at least when compared to the other 7 episodes. No Bob, Harry has a different office in the other part of town, no Bob , he's talking about magic almost with anyone [he kept quiet before, VERY quiet], some blond reporter comes out of nowhere, I mean WTF?! o_O This episode looks like it was taken from the end of first season or even from the second one. And no, I haven't got the chance of reading any Dresden books so I'm only commenting on the show. |

Actually, I believe Storm Front was the original pilot episode. They just showed it out of order. And, surprisingly, it was the most accurate episode in terms of the books. |

Storm Front was the pilot episode. (Or rather a shortened version of it.)
Next week's episode aught to be good. Mai and Morgan asking for Harry's help. I think it might be the episode Jim Butcher has a cameo in. But I could be wrong.

What about Bob?
This series just keeps getting better! This was a lot more serious but what an episode!
And did anyone catch Jim Butcher? He was a stand-in in the first morgue scene. |

Things That Go Bump
Things just got more and more interesting...
Until this episode I knew Mai wasn't human. I thought maybe she was demonic, but I never imagined this...
I guess I should have. |
