After what seems like forever, but has really just been a year, the next book in the Dresden Files series is about to come out. White Knight releases on April 4th. Can't wait |

Cool! I'm actually going to pick up Storm Front the next time I'm at the library. From what I read on Wikipedia:
| Quote: | | As of Proven Guilty Michael has admitted to Harry that he feels his time as a Knight of the Cross is coming to an end, meaning that his death may be at hand. |
I wonder... If the title has anything to do with the above? Perhaps a new Knight? |

Maybeeeee. The Knights become really important in the last book, and they really kind of leave you questioning what's going to happen as far as who a new one should be. There are about 3 solid ideas floating around as to who the next Knight should be, should Michael "retire." |

Just an FYI... these were his first published books. While they're great, I just wanted y'all to know that his writing improves and this series as well as the Alera series grow into an amazing universe.
So I hope no one is too critical of the first three novels he published cuz he -- like all writers -- get much better around novel four. |

I was aware.
And I'm not critical at all. I love his narration style and his sence of humour. I'd have finished the entire series by now if I had any time at all. |

Cool. Post your thoughts as you go along, especially how it compares to the TV show for you. |

Well the differences are all physical and obvious, but the heart of the books is still in the TV version. That being Boucher's narration style and the snappy dialog.
Not to mention how Murphy was made a bigger character, especially at the end of the season. |
