I understand one of the problems is the industry strike going on in Toronto.

It's still undecided and since the production team hasn't said that they're investigating other locations, it sounds like if the strike isn't settled or if rates go up too much, they'll just cancel the show

regardless of how poor the ratings are, it's still a top three show, yeah? I don't see how they can cancel a top 3 show, but they might.
