Denzel Crocker is probably the meanest teacher at school. He is obsessed with fairly godparents due to a childhood experience. Crocker hates being a teacher and that people don't believe him. He is a really unhappy man.

(The following part contains spoilers) Denzel's obsession with fairy godparents started when he was very young. His mother worked a lot and she left him at home all the time, so Crocker received fairly godparents. In fact, his godparents were the same Cosmo and Wanda!

Crocker had a lot of friends and was loved by everyone. He solved the problems of the people, using his godparents' magic for good causes. He was invited to a ceremony when they declared the "Denzel Crocker Day", but when he was speaking to the public, Cosmo appeared. His memory was erased, as well as Cosmo's and Wanda's, but Crocker didn't forget anything. That explains why is he obsessed with fairly godparents. (End of the spoilers).

Crocker still lives with his mother, despite the fact that he is about 40 years old. His teacher job doesn't give him enough money. His mother is a really good person who loves her son, but Crocker is very rude with her. he has offended her feelings several times.

Seems that Mr. Crocker likes to release his frustration making his students sad. He loves to give bad grades, particularly to Timmy. The only boy that he stands is AJ. He doesn't like him, but AJ is just too intelligent to be ignored even by the worst teacher.

Denzel's obsession is focused on Timmy's godparents. He doesn't know that Cosmo and Wanda used to be his godparents so that isn't the explanation to the obsession with the boy's godparents. The reason is that Timmy is the only boy he knows that has fairy godparents. Crocker always tries to get a proof of their existence to let the world know the truth, but he always fails on getting it.
