Francis is the school's bully. He loves stealing the younger boys' money, particularly from those who aren't popular. Even if it hasn't been revealed information about his family, it's obvious that it's in an awful situation and his parents don't care about him.
Even if he is only twelve years old, Francis looks like if he was fifteen or sixteen years old, something very usual for the school bullies. He's very strong. It's known that he often practices with weights and sometimes uses the boys as weights!
Francis earned his reputation of the school's biggest bully when he was young. Since the first day he went to school, he has been intimidating and attacking the boys, particularly the younger ones. Francis, however, respects the popular kids and almost never attacks them. For this reason, he focuses in the less "important" kids, such as Timmy, AJ, Chester and Elmer (the boil kid).
Between all his friends Francis seems to enjoy particularly attacking Timmy. AJ is smart and he usually comes up with a scheme to stop Francis while Chester is skilled in tricking people into doing what he wants them to do. Timmy, however, isn't very smart nor "street-skilled" and he is very weak, so Francis sees him as the perfect target.
By his clothes and behavior, it's obvious that Francis' family is in a terrible situation. Seems that his parents don't care about his son, since Francis steals without problems from the supermarkets and hangs out with friends very late at night. Also, Francis is always dirty, proving that his parents don't care about his personal hygiene.
The friends of Francis are other bullies from his school and other schools. It hasn't been revealed if they are as old as him or if he is younger, but all of them are young delinquents.
Francis has had problems with Dimmsdale's police for stealing a supermarket, destroying cars and several other illegal activities. |
