The Firm: Chapter Nine

Mitch and Ray are hired by a desperate father, Sergeant Leonard Debs, who enlists their help with the mysterious death of his son. However, their investigation puts them both in the center of the surreal world of Federal "terror law," where national security trumps civil liberties and secret proceedings replace public hearings. Meanwhile, Tammy finds herself a new job, in an effort to help further their ongoing investigation in the Sarah Holt case.

Recap

The episode begins with Mitch looking in panic, at armed intruders entering the compound of his house. He is still with Andrew on the phone; Andrew advises him to get out of there as soon as possible. He tells Mitch to meet him at a designated place; if he manages to make it out safely. Earlier, Mitch and Ray are shown discussing about Noble Insurance; they get into a limo and are driven away. It is then shown that, the actual limo drive is lying on the ground all groggy. Meanwhile in the limo, Ray talks to Mitch about him marrying Tammy. Mitch is visibly glad to hear this news. Suddenly the limo is stopped and the two are asked to step out of the vehicle, by the limo driver. Standing in front of them is a uniformed army man, pretending to be a limo driver. He says that he wants speak to Ray, and that Ray knows his Lieutenant named Gibbons. He basically wants his sons disappearance investigated; as he feels his son has been killed. ..
