The Flintstones

The Flinstones is about a modern stone-age family, set in the prehistoric times. There's Fred, the meat-loving, bowling-playing fat man, Wilma, his wife who loves to cook and Pebbles, they're cute baby daughter. Their next door neighbors are Barney, Fred's best friend, Betty, Barney's wife who always loves to hang out with Wilma, and they're baby son who is incredibly strong. The two families risk prehistoric danger or wild antics as they struggle to live normal. The Flintstones ran for 6 years in total.


The Flintstones was a very famous cartoons that ended up having many spin-offs like "The Flintstones Kids" and many others. The Flintstones characters also ended up going on to be advertisement characters, like how Fruity Pebbles and Coco pebbles use the Flintstones as characters to advertise their cereal. The Flintstones has also gotten their own vitamins as well as becoming iconic. This series is well-known through out many generations, and continues to appear in cartoons and ads through-out television. Also, there where two movies based off the cartoons... "The Flintstones" and "The Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas" and both of them where live-action. There where also many DTVs.
