1x15: The Final Chapter recap: The morning after the attack on the evacuation center, Mitchell picks up surveillance footage from a gas station showing two of Carroll's men abducting Parker. She identifies one man as Alex Lipton, a militia warrior. As they try to work out the clues Carroll has left them, Ryan sees a young boy wearing a Poe mask walk up to the station. The boy, Jack Foster, says that a woman named Emma paid him $20 to put on the mask. Realizing that it's another clue, Ryan checks the mask and finds a phone number inside... read more.

1x14: The End is Near recap: Carroll takes a shot of whiskey to dull the pain from the stab wound and watches the 2011 video Molly made of her and Ryan. When Ryan makes a comment about how a bruise won't kill him because he's already dead, Carroll takes an interest and repeats it over and over again. He then calls Emma in and gives her very specific instructions. Once he's satisfied that she understands, he tells Emma that with Roderick dead, she's the only one he can trust. Carroll apologizes for slapping her earlier and she says that she forgives him, and he assures her that he's undaunted despite his wound... read more.

1x13: Havenport recap: At the sheriff's station in Havenport, Roderick briefs Ryan and Debra on his officers' search of the area. Debra thanks him for his help and Roderick leaves just as Mike comes in. He assures Ryan and Debra that he's fine and Debra sends him to work with Mitchell. As Mike goes down the hall, he hears Roderick talking in his office and carefully peers inside. As Roderick comes out, Mike calls to him and draws his gun, and tells Roderick to put his hands up. Roderick points out that he should be in the hospital and walks out, and his officers grab Mike when they see that he has a gun... read more.

1x12: The Curse recap: Claire wakes up and finds Joey, and then leads him out of the house at the crack of dawn. As they run to the gate, they discover that it's locked. Claire has Joey start to squeeze through, but Roderick walks up and asks if he can help her. Several other follows come over and Claire says that they were going for a walk. 1x11: Whips and Regret recap: Ryan is at his apartment sleeping off a hangover when the phone rings. It's Carroll, having just returned from his morning jog. He realizes that Ryan is sleeping in because he's been drinking and figures that he's taking Claire's loss badly. Carroll says that he just wanted to check in on in his hero and gloat, and Ryan hangs up. The phone rings again and Carroll advises him to become a functioning alcoholic at the very least. Ryan tells him to get to the point and Carroll tells him not to fall apart until he's finished his story, and meanwhile he's going to enjoy a fresh start with Claire.
