i am so looking forward to seeing this,

I'm not much for murder-of-the-week shows but I do like Kevin Bacon so I'll give it a look for that reason alone.

The best crime drama on TV (EVER!!) is "Breaking Bad."

Nothing special IMHO. Typical USA crime with lots of blood but refusal to show breasts, strange how we can watch a woman stab herself in the eye but we can't see her boobs.

What did you think of the show.?

kind of reminds me of a movie i've seen ,i can't think of the name of it , in the movie the killer sends the retired fed letters & videos (those were in back in the day) ,the fed is being treated for migraines.
i like kevin bacon, he didn't come off as a strong arm type ,that kicks ass ( i can say that can't i) then gets the info, i will watch the repeat on friday ,before i make the rush to judge , overall i liked it , it kept my attention so i will say if fox doesn't do anything stupid ,it will be a rating grabber for them,

What's the betting that one of the followers is in the "let's get him" task force - my money is on the gal.
- though a great twist would be if it turned out that EVERYONE was a follower.

Not sure if I care to see another episode, but will only if I remember to. Not going to miss it if I don't see another episode.

No doubt somebody else is part of The Following, but for some reason serial killer women are rare.

BTW: who was that who kidnapped the little boy?

members of "the followers" i think , awaiting orders (my guess ,not a spoiler) after k.b broke the guys fingers the bad guy said something about wanting to see her(claire) i know she is one of the kidnappers ,but that's all

^ I thought when PrisonBaddie said he wanted to see HER, he was referring to the mother, because he'd arranged for the two non-gay guys + the nanny to kidnap the mother's child. - the mother, of course being his ex-wife, though I'm not sure if the kid is the PrisonBaddie's kid or Bacon Jnr.

The little boy was kidnapped by the nanny (or the babysitter) who then went away with the non-gay dudes. No Purefoy or caroll wanted to meet only with his wife/kid's mother. Even I kinda think it might be either of their kid especially if u saw the spl promo before, but I wouldn't be really surprised if the inside follower is Shawn Ashmore.. Btw episode was not really great but I will be watching it next week.

I'll try to catch another episode to decide for sure about how I feel.

@guytwo: Saw ur comment reg BB, completely on ur side. Nothing can beat that, but then again u do have to choose some replacements or alternatives right cos except POI, Castle & Elementary I am sick of all the procedurals. Everywhere its seems that the police or whatever task force it is are incompetent that they require specialist consultants for this purpose and I dont see this type of scenario changing in the next couple of yrs atleast. Even though this might not have great writing as BB does but its atleast a bit of a fresh idea compared to the other shows out there.

Also does any one know the name of the song that played at the end?
