|
While in West Virginia, Richard is beaten by the local blue collar workers of the coal mining town, and then ran out of town by the sheriff. Kimble runs off into the mountains where he meets a young woman named Cassie, who lives in a cabin with her grandmother. Although she says she will help him to safety, she really is intent on keeping him around. Meanwhile, Gerard has been alerted by the sheriff that Kimble has been sighted in the area.
