1 :01x01 - Away Game

Derwin invites Melanie to his first away game in Miami, but due to her heavy school load, she decides to pass. When Tasha and Kelly find out she is not going, they persuade her to change her mind by telling her away games are a play ground for cheating. Meanwhile, Derwin's teammates are upset that he invited Melanie and tell him he needs to un-invite her, fearing the other wives will use her as a spy.

2 :01x02 - The Rules of The Game

As a favor to Derwin, Melanie attends the first Saber Sunbeam meeting of the season, only to learn that unlike the wives, football players' "girlfriends" are not considered legitimate and are treated as such by the other wives. On the same day, Derwin attends his first rookie seminar where he is given a lecture about gold diggers, STDs and is hazed by the other players. Later that night, Melanie and Derwin attend a party where Melanie, has a conversation with another player and is perceived to be flirting with him. When the player's girlfriend confronts Melanie, she realizes the rules of the game in the pros will take some getting used to.

3 :01x03 - Gifted

When Melanie sends gifts to the football team on behalf of Derwin in honor of the first game, Derwin gets teased and his teammates Jason and Malik feel pressured to reciprocate. A gift giving competition ensues.

4 :01x04 - How Tasha Got Her Groove Back

When Malik tells Tasha that he is having trouble with the offensive coordinator, Kenny, he asks her to speak with him. Later that evening, even though Tasha and Kenny disagree about Malik's career, they end up enjoying each other's company.

When Kelly's daughter tells her she wants an extravagant birthday party like the rest of her friends, Kelly approaches Jason for money and he refuses. A minor argument escalates into a major locker room rift between Jason and Malik that affects their playing relationship on the field. The locker room tension spills over to Kelly and Tasha, leaving Melanie in the middle and in an awkward position when she insists that they all come to her house for a dinner party.

Milak asks Tasha to move out after she embarrasses him at home in front of some friends. Meanwhile, Jason tries to give financial advice to Derwin.

Melanie goes home to Connecticut to spend Christmas with her parents, while Derwin stays in San Diego, where he anxiously waits to see if the Sabers will make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Malik worries the team will discover he has an obsessive-compulsive disorder.

11 :01x11 - It's Hard Being Kelly Pitts

Kelly gets stressed out when Jason's parents stay with them for the weekend during the playoffs because Jason is too cheap to put them up in a hotel; Malik keeps Derwin up late each night to practice for an upcoming playoff game.

In this episode, Derwin is rushing allot to have a family and to make a different love point of view for Melanie, when he comes to think that Melanie is pregnant. The Sabers may have lost the game and they also may be eliminated, but Derwins performance earns him the attention of a high-profile manager. n the conclusion of the first-season finale, Melanie and Derwin have a heated argument about their impending engagement status. Melanie is outraged at first, but forgives Derwin after he says they just kissed. Meanwhile, Jason gets a reality check when he is asked to speak on camera and conduct special interviews for ESPN.
