Episode Quotes
Blanche: (about Nurse DeFarge) Dorothy, at 2 AM in the morning, I was entertaining a gentleman caller, when she walked in at the most inopportune time. I could've lost my balance and chipped a tooth!
Rose: You think that's bad? She came into my room when she was re-enacting the plank-walking scene from Peter Pan!
Dorothy: What the hell goes on at night in this house?!

Nurse DeFarge: Now, where's my patient?
Sophia: Don't you mean "victim?"

Episode Goofs
Blanche enters her bedroom to talk to Melissa in one scene. However, her room is supposed to be at the end of the hall, yet the open door and the placement of the room would suggest that they're actually supposed to be in Dorothy's room.

Melissa is said to be the daughter of Blanche's daughter Janet, yet we see Janet's son David in the season one episode "On Golden Girls", and he is implied to be an only child (Melissa would have been a year old at the time). Further, Janet herself makes an appearance later this season in "Home Again, Rose" with a completely different four-year-old named Sarah.
