Episode Notes
The closing credits feature Rose telling the story of her beloved dog Rusty for the umpteenth time to a hospital patient in a full-body cast, with a broken leg. Soon, the fed-up hospital patient gets up out of bed and hurriedly limps away.
Until 2009, this scene was not shown in syndication.

David Leisure makes his second of two appearances on the show, this time as Empty Nest's Charlie Dietz, in the Jeopardy! dream sequence. Coincidentally, Leisure's prior appearance was in "Empty Nests," the season two episode that Empty Nest was spun-off from.

The Jeopardy! dream sequence features the actual set and theme music featured on the show at the time, as well as host Alex Trebek and creator Merv Griffin.

This episode was taped on January 23, 1992.
