The Golden Girls: Ebbtide VI: The Wrath of Stan

Rose does a television news report on the horrible, bug-infested living conditions of Dorothy's Uncle Angelo's apartment, which spells bad news for Dorothy and Stan, who serve as Angelo's landlady and lord, and are ordered to spend one night in the building.

Meanwhile, Sophia makes her annual trip to buy shoes.

Episode Notes

The closing credits feature Dorothy denying Sophia an electric golf cart. When she leaves the room, Sophia calls up the press, telling them out of spite that the "Big Mean Bug Lady" is at it again.
Until 2009, this scene was not shown in syndication.

This is the third episode to feature the word "Ebbtide" in its name; the prior two were season five's "Ebb Tide" and season six's "Ebbtide's Revenge." The theme naming would continue in The Golden Palace with the episode "Ebbtide for the Defense."

This is Bill Dana's final appearance as Uncle Angelo.
