Episode Notes
The closing credits feature an extended version of Dorothy singing "Hard Hearted Hannah" at the Rusty Anchor.
Until 2009, this scene was not shown in syndication.

The songs that Dorothy sings at the Rusty Anchor are "What'll I Do?", best known as the theme to the 1974 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, and "Hard Hearted Hannah (The Vamp of Savannah)", from the musical Tin Pan Alley. Notably, Bea Arthur had also performed "Hard Hearted Hannah" in an episode of Maude in the 1970s.

Blanche sings "I Wanna Be Loved by You" from the 1928 musical Good Boy. In an interview with TVLegends, Rue McClanahan listed this episode as her favorite of the series.
