The scene opnes with Colin Sweeney returning to reclaim the company he had to abandon while in the clink. There has been a 30% decline in stock price at the Herald Equity Group since the new CEO, Gerald Drescher, took over, so Sweeney figures he’s a shoo-in for votes at the shareholders’ meeting. Besides, he has Eli as crisis manager and Alicia as legal consultant. Alicia is momentarily distracted by a call from her agitated children. Someone from the 8th floor has popped up (down?) to tell them they have 90 days before they have to leave their apartment. Reason? It’s going co-op. Buy the digs now, or scram. And while the agent claims he told Peter all this a year ago, we soon discover that is not the case; the late notification is to keep Alicia from exercising her insider’s rights. ..
