|
A tank is stolen in an attempt to break an Army commander out of death row before he can be executed. Britt knows the man is innocent, but he fears the escape attempt might make the governor ignore evidence that exonerates him.

| Mike: He's done it again!
Britt: Who's done what again?
Mike: The Green Hornet. I'd bet my bottom dollar he's the one that stole that tank!
Britt: What use would he have for it? You've always said that that car he has is as formable as a tank.
Mike: Sure, but now he has two of 'em, so he's doubly dangerous!
| Carter: What do you want?
Hornet: We want to make a swap.
Carter: A swap?
Kato: Your life for an M3 tank.
| Mike: "Tank recovered under mysterious circumstances". I'll bet the Green Hornet was in on that.
Britt: Maybe, maybe not. For all we know he might have arranged Brad Devlin's release.
Mike: Britt Reid! If I didn't know you better I'd advise you to stay away from cocktail parties! Which reminds me...
Casey: (after Mike leaves) Poor Mike. If the Green Hornet were ever captured all of the fun would go out of his life.
Britt: It'd have quite an effect on mine too, my dear!

| Carter has an artificial left leg, but the van he gets into clearly has a clutch, which would be impossible for a man with an artificial leg to drive.
