The Green Hornet interrupts Dr. Mabouse's plans to load the nuclear bomb onto a plane. Mabouse sets a trap for the Hornet and Kato, then locks them in a booby-trapped Black Beauty while he devises a new plan to detonate the bomb.

Mabouse refers to Kato as Kato, violating a primary conceit of the series: that no one knows that Britt's valet Kato is also the nameless Asian that fights at the Green Hornet's side.
