One of the funniest shows on tv at the moment! Only the laugh track is very annoying. |

i suppose its all a matter of taste, but i found it extremely unfunny and utterly unrealistic. You are however corrent about the laughter track though. |

I never would've tuned in if it weren't for Laura Pyper's guest apperance in episode 1, but it actually was pretty fun. I'm loving Katherine Parkinson as Jen. The laughter track indeed sucks though.. wish they'd stop ruining cool shows with that (anyone said how I met your mother ?) |

I like it. A bit like the BOFH-Stories, even if those guys are not quite as in control as the BOFH is ;-) |

I loved it. Utterly brilliant. Laugh track can get irritating but can put up with it because of the show.
My favourite episode is definitely the Red Door because Richmond was great and really funny. |

A cool show, but I'm going to be a stickler.
There seems to be an inconsistency with the characters. It's as if they can't decide who is the smart one and who isn't. Moss seems to be the 'smart one', but he often does something so utterly stupid, such as the soldering iron incident. I think that whole part was out of character.
I find I had the same problems getting 'into' Black Books. I think there are a lot of parallels between the two shows. Two guys and a girl, all socially inept. You have the Irish leading man (I think they both are anyway), the other guy who's even weirder, and the little hottie. They both seem to be – for me – anchored in some world that seems made up. The problems that happen are just too outlandish for me to get into fully.
That being said, I repeat: cool show. Worth watching. |

I think Moss is meant to have Asperger's which could explain the character flaws. |

Next time I watch it, I'll keep that in mind and see if my opinion of the show changes. Sometimes that would makes sense from memory, such as when he tries to get the two women to look out the window. HE could have easily said he needed to install something on their comps and it would be a while so they need to go away.
That leads me into one of the funniest moments for me . . . that builder. |
