James Buckley who plays Jay actually has both of his ears pierced, not just one, like is seen in this episode.

Steven Webb, who plays Alistair, is not actually disabled in real life.

In the episode, Simon's Mum is only seen behind either people or props and her body isn't seen throughout the episode. This is because she was heavily pregnant when this episode was filmed.

Mr Gilbert: Cartwright, what is that in your ear?
