| Show Tidbits | In Tim Minear's original script for the pilot episode, "New Girl In Town", many of the characters had different names - Paul Ryan (Jay Harrington) was Paul Fattore, Danny Love (Adam Baldwin) was Danny Coulter, Carter Howard (Nelsan Ellis) was Craig Fischer, and Melody Simm (Katie Finneran) was Carla Thom - initially described as a black woman. | In episode 12, "Gem", the FBI storm a make-up warehouse owned by the company "Almost Human", whose owner went to college with the criminal they were after. Almost Human did many of the make-up effects on Tim Minear's previous shows "Angel" and "Firefly", as well as "Buffy The Vampire Slayer". | At the start of the series finale, "Skin & Bone", the team are discussing their weekends. Paul (Jay Harrington) states that he and his wife went to see a movie, a "space western"; to which Danny (Adam Balwdin) replies that it sounds great while he mockingly yawns. This, of course, is a reference to the cult movie "Serenity", a space-western based on Tim Minear's former show "Firefly" - in which Adam Baldwin played the character of Jayne Cobb. |
