The Great Ape Escape Review
If anyone was unfortunate enough to have this be the first episode of the series to see, then they will hopefully not hold it against all of the people involved. The series itself is an original that has plenty of excitement and a new twist on the whole "opera" type programming. I am hoping that all of the usual excitement and drama of the previous episodes is being saved for the season finale.

Mr. Wolf, at this point, seems to be relying to much on "making a plan for the moment" instead of using his military training and making several plans to try and take care of many alternate situations. His team seems to be falling apart which doesn't seem to plausible at this point. Being that they were all in combat together, having their lives risked 24/7 with no time outs, that being in this situation where they have plenty of time to think and several understanding "enemy" soldiers, they would have a better way of dealing with situations and have more plans that would be more successful. They came from a combat zone where they were used to having a risk factor of 10 (the riskiest) with all of the pressures they were under and that they had to make split second decisions or people got killed to a risk factor of 4 1/2, where they get time to sleep without being shot at. They get time to go to the bathroom without being bombed. They get to eat, talk, have a birthday party, play with all of the safety deposit boxes, develop relationships, rob a bank with the computer, and so much more without the pressure or thought of death running through their heads every single second.

This episode was certainly not one of the best, but it does create a dramatic lead into the season finale. And, again, I hope for all of you that this was your first episode of the series, that you don't judge the entire show on it. If you have a chance to see any of the previous episodes, then watch them. You will be mourning the end of the season and eagerly looking forward to the next. We do hope that time flies fast during the show's break.
