"Arnold Schwarzenegger", is an Austrian-American bodybuilder, actor, businessman, and politician, currently serving as the 38th Governor of the state of California. He's most famous for his work on the big screen as a star of both action and comedy. Notable early successes include Conan the Barbarian (1982), soon followed by his signature role in James Cameron's 1984 Terminator (and two of it's sequels). What followed was a succession of action film hits: Commando (1985), Raw Deal (1986) and Predator (1987). The films Twins (1988) and Kindergarten Cop (1990) were also very successful though they were comedies.
His career fell into decline in the late 1990's and early 2000's with only the third film in the Terminator franchise being a box office success. Making it the perfect time to make the move to the California Governors mansion in 2003. Though basically a failure in that job he's remained and even won re-election (against a wood door knocker of a candiate). Come February 2007 many were surprised to hear the news that the "Governator" had joined the recurring cast of the Late Late Show. Offering his opinions on the days events in a series of segments.
