It's Memorial Day and CBS is making our favorite immigrant work (the show is live, remember?). Craig uses this complaint as the focus of tonight's monologue. While also telling us what he does like about the holiday. Later, the guy that Craig's son thinks is cool, BOB SAGET, of Surviving Suburbia is on. Later, author P.W. SINGER (Wired for War: The Robotics Revolution and Conflict in the 21st Century).
Surviving Suburbia airs Wednesday's @ 9:30 on ABC
P.W. Singer's book, Wired for War: The Robotics Revolution and Conflict in the 21st Century, released on January 22nd, 2009
Craig: Memorial day is CBS latin for make the immigrant work the holidays.
Craig: I wonder what President Obama and his family did this weekend. I can never remember what they did. (crowd laughs) Well it's his first Memorial day at the White House so he probably spent the day with the new pet, you know throwing the stick for him to fetch and watching him come back all slobbery and excited. What's the pets name? Oh yeah Joe Biden.
Craig: I love summer because I like watching people go by in their halter tops and skimpy bikini's. Ah it's lovely, men and women.
Craig: I've always rather fancied doing a marathon, you know I'd like to. The only thing that keeps me away is all the running.
Craig: I love Bar-b-q's though and not just for the food. I like to stand back by the hot grill wearing just my speedo's. You know once I was doing that and burned my weiner.
Craig: Sometimes I think I reveal too much.
Craig: (talking to Dave Foley about gardening with the CBS censor monitoring the conversation) I'll have to remember that cause this year I wanna grow a great big cucumber (buzzed by the censor)...ummmm Melons (buzzed by the censor) ...roast beef? (censor agrees that's appropriate) That's right I got a roast beef tree in my garden.
