Craig's tales of using acid in his homeland of Scotland take the focus in tonight's monologue. Noting that acid was rather popular in Scotland in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Later, the master of prop comedy, CARROT TOP (Scott Thompson) is by for another visit. Also, star of the new comedy film, Post Grad, ALEX BLEDEL, stops by.
Craig: Acid is popular in Scotland, well was popular in Scotland in the 1970's when I was there. Most popular things in Scotland were acid, the Bay City Rollers and stabbing.
Craig: (talking about an old friend offering him acid) If he thinks Vietnam was such a pleasant experience it should be a clue for me that the acid wasn't a great idea.
Craig: What I'm saying is we're in the 20 year cycle, so right about now we're do for an 80's revival in television. Right? That's about right. So you know, big hair, leg warmers, pointy bras. I can't wait cause I still have all that stuff.
Carrot Top: (talking about his contract extension) Last time I had an extension I used a pump.
Carrot Top: Vegas is good. You got drinking, smoking, gambling, prostitution, bring the kids.
Craig: I can't watch The View during the day, I have to TIVO it and watch it at night. Then my neighbors think I have five cats.
