Episode Quotes

Craig: (referring to the David Letterman scandal) Well, by now I guess you've all figured out how I got the job.

Craig: The person you work for, the person you admire is caught in an embarrassing situation and your job is to be funny about that. Whilst trying to keep your own job. So this is my last show.

Craig: I will say this, if we are, this just occurs to me, if we now are holding late night talk shows hosts to the same moral accountability as we hold politicians or clergy, I'm out. I'm gone.

Craig: I'm sorry I keep trying not to be sexy.

Craig: At the box office this weekend the movie Zombieland was number one. It beat Michael Moore's new documentary. Zombieland and Michael Moore's new movie are very different of course. One has a lumbering disgusting monster that eats everything in it's path...and the other one has zombies.

Craig: Let's just get to it, let's just nail it, it's the elephant in the room. A lot of people talking about the big brouhaha in late night television. Well I'm staying out of it.

Craig: I've always wanted to go to Rio so maybe I'll go to the Olympics. It's 7 years from now so I'll be almost 40.

Craig: Good to see you Tim, how are the people of Chicago handling this news?
Tim Meadows: Well Craig this town is home of the Cubs so it's used to not winning things.

Craig: Conservative's have critized the President for taking this trip to Denmark to make his case.
Tim Meadows: Yeah you know it wasn't the best approach. If George W. Bush were president he would have made his case by bombing Denmark.

Craig: It seems like every famous personality from Chicago helped with the campaign, even Oprah.
Tim Meadows: Well Kanye West is from Chicago but he didn't campaign for the city. But he is going down to Rio to interrupt the victory celebration.

Craig: Tell us Tim why do you think Chicago's bid was unsuccessful.
Tim Meadows: It's possible that the world's greatest superpower could be weakening.
Craig: No Tim, I think America is as strong as ever.
Tim Meadows: No I was talking about Oprah. You know 10 years ago she could have forced the world to host the Olympics between her butt cheeks.
Craig: I'd loved to see that torch lighting ceremony.
