Craig's monologue tonight takes focus on the cable "News" networks (Fox News, CNN and MSNBC) and their supposed fairness. Giving his opinion of what he likes to watch on any given day. Later, star of the new comedy, Couples Retreat, JEAN RENO is the first guest of the night. Also, SOPHIA BUSH (The CW's One Tree Hill) is by to plug the new season.
Couple Retreat (also starring Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman) released on October 9th, 2009.
One Tree Hill airs Monday nights on The CW @ 9:00 pm.
Craig: Craig you seem to have quite an encyclopedic knowledge of the cultures of other people. Well you gotta know who you're gonna offend next, don't ya?
Craig: This is true, this is absolutely true, do you know who's getting his own reality show? Michael Vick. It's gonna be called, I'm a Dog Get Me Outta Here.
Craig: (talking about a movie on the life of the horse Secretariat) I'm thinking do we really need a entire movie about a giant beast ridden by tiny men in silk outfits? Doesn't sound like a movie, sounds in fact like a party at Elton John's house.
Craig: Now look, I'm not angry at doctors they have to make money somehow and at least they're not lawyers.
Craig: I thought CNN stood for Cable News Network not Crazy Nightly Nuts.
Craig: See I think because most news sucks now people don't sit down and watch it anymore, it's the same with this show, people don't sit down and watch this show. they're too busy texting or cooking or getting it on with someone they just met. And that's just the studio audience, never mind the people at home.
Craig: Some days when I feel like I want news slanted to the right I watch Fox News and when I want it slanted to the left I watch MSNBC. When I want it slanted sexy I watch Anderson Cooper...from outside his apartment.
Craig: Do you know what's the worst? Is the local news. The local news is terrifying. (speaking in an announcers voice) Something in your house may kill you. Find out what after the commercial.
