The episode begins with Lisbon, La Roche, Rigsby, Cho, and Grace questioning a woman as to which direction the suspect went. She says that the suspect went towards the roof; that is where Jane works! Lisbon draws her gun. They all head towards Jane’s office. La Roche warns them that the target might be armed. They go to the roof door and it is locked. Lisbon calls out to Jane and he says that he is coming out. The door opens and they are shocked at the sight; Hightower is holding a shotgun aimed at Jane’s neck. She tells the team to stand back; else Jane dies. Cut to 36 hours earlier, the team arrives at the Northern California Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. ..
