Richard begs Christine for the return of her old wedding ring which was an heirloom from his mother, in hopes of giving it to new Christine when he proposes.
Christine is thrilled when a talent scout decides he wants to use Ritchie in a commercial after catching his performance in a school show, but Richard refuses to give his approval or let him go.
Christine tries to make a good impression at the Parents Orientation. However, her behavior is anything but good when she recognizes one of the fathers as the boy she knew in junior high.
When Ritchie is injured at a skate park, Christine accuses Richard of being a bad parent, but when she becomes overprotective of him it becomes just as bad, if not worse.
Christine and Richard help Marly and Lindsay through labor, bring back memories of Ritchie's birth which, in turn, brings back feelings for one another.
To prove she is comfortable with Richard being remarried, Christine brings an obnoxious date to the rehearsal dinner in which she is supposed to be "in love with," but her scheme backfires. to complicate things more, Mathew falls for New Christine's sister.
