i'm into this show. i'm actually still not convinced that eva was not involved. while franny's explanation seemed nice. it can't be proved. this would be a nice misdirection for later down the road. her actions in the bank were still odd.
i like that jeremy and franny got together.
so nick missed the meeting because he was playing poker. this is gonna be interesting when it becomes a problem with the case, work, and/or personal life.
while egan has had a pretty bad fall from where he began, he still is a upbeat as ever. it think this is because mainly his fall has been by his choice. he didn't like his job and was bucking the boss on purpose. he also wasn't happy with his marriage and left. |

I really wanted Eva to be involved... I think the sinister aspect of it appeals to me. But as you pointed out, Casey, her behavior in the bank during the robbery WAS suspicious, and I'm not sure I buy the crap about spending $300 to push back her departure date three times, just to hope for a little interest from Nick. Farfetched, I think.
I'm actually getting bored with the gambling side story. I find it a weak plot point, and kind of distracting from the better stuff. Nick is a great, complex character... we don't need the gambling side story any more. I'd rather see them put up other roadblocks for him than that.
Jeremy and Franny are cute as heck. Hope that works out, but knowing dramas like this, it won't be easy.
I wish we could have seen Egan on the horse! The potential humor there would have been great, the writers wasted that by not showing it! Dammit!
