With senior year drawing to a close, graduation looms in the future, bringing the anticipation of college along with it. Seth, Ryan, Summer and Marissa together reflect on their past 3 years together and the major events that brought them all together. Seth has to deal with his parents and the police over his list of mistakes. Ryan's mother arrives in Newport with a surprise for him. Marissa is faced with a decision about her future after receiving a shocking proposal. Lastly, Summer has to face leaving Newport without Seth and has a hard time saying her goodbyes. Meanwhile, Sandy's big decision shocks Kirsten; Kaitlin returns home and moves in with Julie, wanting to be the next Cooper to attend Harbor; and Taylor is ecstatic when the "core four" turns into the "fab five". But as everyone makes plans for their futures, their pasts might get in the way of their dreams.

| Kirsten: Then it’s back to the Newport Group, business as usual?
Sandy: Well, how about not? I went back to my old office, the place looked worse than ever. The guy in there was beaten down, exhausted … oh, it was a thing of beauty.
| Kaitlin: It’s pretty cool that you’re letting her go.
Julie: And it’s pretty cool that you came back so she can leave.
Kaitlin: Well, I don’t love Marissa that much. Just, all the older kids, they just see me as Marissa’s little sister. And they’ve graduated. And now I can rule Harbor.

Kaitlin: Well, since my grades went from 'B's to 'A's, I was actually wondering (points to her chest) if you could change my 'A's to 'B's.
| Ryan: This looks familiar.
Marissa: It shouldn't; they rebuilt it completely when you burned it down.
| Seth: When they announce my name, uhh, could you… not do that cheer you did for me when I won capture the flag at parent’s weekend?
Sandy: Which cheer was that? Oh, oh, oh! Check out my boy Cohen. Can you believe how he’s growin’? The competition away he’s blowin’!
Seth: That’s the one, please don’t do that. Ever.

Seth: We're both usually so awesome.
| Seth: Ryan got a car? Really? I’ve been waiting 3 years for a car! I’m supposed to be the spoiled one.
| Marissa: I’m sorry … for all of the craziness.
Ryan: I wouldn’t have done it any differently. Except maybe Oliver.

Marissa: No, stay. Don’t leave.

| At the model home, steam is coming from the pool meaning that the pool must be heated. However, since it is a model home, it is unlikely that the pool would have the heat on.
