The End's Not Near, It's Here
!!!!!! This review contains spoilers !!!!!!

What an amazing finale. The writers did an awesome job closing off the storylines. Each character got the ending they deserve and I loved the fast-forward into the future -- Seth and Summer get married (!!), Julie gets her life together without the support of a man, and Ryan’s life comes full circle when he pulls a Sandy Cohen with a young boy who looks a lot like Ryan four seasons ago.

I almost wish that there was a little more about Marissa in the episode. Sure there was the scene with the locket, but with the huge role she played in the first three seasons, she should have had a bit more acknowledgement throughout the episode. But I guess that’s what happens when a cast member up and quits. Oh well.

The flashbacks were great. Ryan walking around the Cohen’s home was quite the tear-jerker.

The episode was the perfect ending. It gave the show the closure that it deserves without getting all corny or overly sappy. Aside from including more about Marissa, I wouldn’t have wished for anything more.
