When manager Michael Scott learns his branch may be downsized, he tries unsuccessfully to hide this information from his staff. Meanwhile, sales representative Jim flirts with Pam, the pretty receptionist, and deals with Dwight, the annoying and arrogant worker who sits next to him. It's all captured by the documentary film crew who observes the office in their daily routines.
