This was a special forty minute episode, which aired from 9:20-10:00 pm.
Jim finally reveals to Pam how he feels about her, and they share their first kiss.
Michael: I am going to donate to Afghanistanis with AIDS.
Jim: No, I think you mean the Aid to Afghanistan.
Michael: No, I mean Afghanistanis with AIDS.
Michael: That's a dog.
Pam: No, that's Afghan.
Michael: That's a shawl.
Dwight: Wait, canine AIDS?
Michael: No. Humans with AIDS.
Creed: Who has AIDS?
Jim: Guys, the Afghanistananis. (Jim smirks)
Michael: Hey, no... no. AIDS is not funny. Believe me, I've tried.
Michael: Oh, and another fun thing. We, at the end of the night, are going to give the check to an actual group of Boy Scouts. Right, Toby?
Toby: Actually, I didn't think it was appropriate to invite children, since it's uh, you know, there's gambling and alcohol, it's in our dangerous warehouse, it's a school night, and you know, Hooter's is catering, and is that... is that enough? Should I keep going?
Michael: Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun, or exciting, you make it... not that way. I hate... so much about the things that you choose to be.
Jim: Excuse me, how long is the wait for a table for two?
Dwight: I would never ever serve you, not in a million billion years.
Pam: It's a nice tux.
Dwight: I know. It belonged to my grandfather. He was buried in it, so, family heirloom.
Pam: Sometimes I don't put Michael through until he's already said something. I look at it as a practice run for him. He usually does better on the second attempt.
Dwight: Codename RE/MAX is here.
The codename Dwight gave Carol is the name of famous realtors RE/MAX.
Kevin: (singing on video)
Don't stand so, don't stand so...
The song Kevin and his band are playing in the video is "Don't Stand So Close To Me" by The Police
. Also, Kevin's band's name "Scrantonicity" is a reference to The Police album "Synchronicity."
Jan I will try to kick it up a notch. BAM!
Michael utters the catchphrase of TV chef, Emeril Lagasse
I, for example, am playing for 'Comic Relief.'
"Comic Relief" was a special made for HBO where comedians would perform in help to raise money for homeless people. Comic Relief was co-founded by Robin Williams
, a comedian who Michael seems to admire.
Michael: (to Jan) You are the Eva Peron to my Cesar Chavez.
Eva Peron (often called "Evita") was the wife of President Juan Domingo Perón of Argentina. She was the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 until she died in 1952. Cesar Chavez was a Mexican-American civil rights leader. Peron and Chavez are in no way related or affiliated, but Michael does not seem to know this.
Kobe Bryant has a foundation. And he is so hot. And he gave his wife the biggest diamond ring. I know he didn’t do it... (pauses)
Maybe he did it.
Kelly is referring to NBA basketball star Kobe Bryant
being accused of sexual assault in 2003.
Let’s get it started. Black-Eyed Crows.
Michael is referring to the song, "Let's Get it Started," which is by the Black-Eyed Peas
. He seems to have merged their band name with The Black Crowes
