The shot of Pam's reaction to the kiss was re-shot on the first day returning to the show. The scene is slightly different from the original - Jim's hair is slightly shorter, and the lighting and camera positioning is different.

In Season 2, Pam mentioned that Jim had eaten a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch every day for years. It appears his transition to Stamford is allowing Jim to be more adventurous.

Deleted scenes for this episode include Meredith complaining about Oscar being gay, Jan telling Michael he has to call 10 clients a day, and Andy talking to Jim about Google-ing "Google."

The kiss between Michael and Oscar was improvised and not part of the original script.

Although her name is not mentioned in the script, the nameplate on the desk of Jim's co-worker (who makes fun of the way he looks at the camera) is Karen Filippelli.

Oscar: I was going to quit, but Jan offered me a three-month paid vacation and a company car. All I had to do was sign something saying I won't sue. Gil and I are going to Europe. Kids, sometimes it pays to be gay.

Ryan: Yeah, I'm not a temp anymore. I got Jim's old job. Which means at my ten-year high school reunion, it will not say "Ryan Howard is a temp." It will say 'Ryan Howard is a junior sales associate at a mid-range paper supply firm.' That will show 'em.

Stanley: I got them a toaster. They called off the wedding and gave the toaster back to me. I tried to return the toaster to the store and they said they no longer sold that kind of toaster. So now my house has got two toasters.
